Information

The information on the web pages of the TIMS 2007 Symposium is based on the information sent out by mail to all TIMS members but is still subject to (minor) change. Especially the excursion programmes may be subject to alteration owing to circumstances or developments beyond our control or for other reasons.

The Organising Committee cannot in any way be held responsible  for any consequences of changed information.

The sole purpose of these pages is to provide the visitor with a taste of what he or she might expect of the symposium and the tours which are being organised.

The photos show sites likely to be visited, but there is no guarantee!

Fees

The fees have been established based on cost estimates and grants already received. The price in Euros is fixed. Payment in other currency must be converted to Euro at the time of payment. Any shortage or surplus will be settled upon check-in at the symposium venue.

Responsibilities

The Organising Committee of the TIMS 2007 Symposium is keen to provide a well-organised symposium and to avoid dangerous situations, but the Committee will not take any responsibility, nor any (financial) liability for accidents, illness or other risks that may occur to participants in the symposium, nor the consequences thereof. No claims can be made against the organisers. Participation is a free choice and at the participant’s own risk. It is strongly advised that participants take proper (for example: travel, medical) insurance measures, including third party cover against harming other persons or objects. Further, each participant has the obligation to pay the symposium fee (including extra tours and options the participant has chosen) before the deadlines set by the Organising Committee. In case of failure to do so, the Organising Committee has the right to cancel that individual’s symposium participation.

Each participant shall with his/her signature on the application form certify his/her compliance with the regulations above and his/her full understanding of the information in the symposium pack. In case of electronic submission of that form, the mere act of submitting it by e-mail shall be regarded as equivalent to a signature.
